The TUBULUS Argentus XP Umbilical Cable is a high end umbilical cable especially made for the Pass Labs XP series. This cable is based on huge high quality silvered copper conductors. These are solid core conductors to prevent strand interaction, which is a major source of distortion.
The silvered conductors are surrounded by mainly air, because (except for a vacuum) air is the best dielectric. This air insulation is made possible by our tube construction, which can only be made by hand.
To preserve signal integrity the conductors are individually shielded. The TUBULUS Argentus XP Umbilical Cable is also equipped with a very thick copper braid shielding to prevent electrical noise entering the cable. Which leads to a 100% coverage. To complete this shielding the XP umbilical cable is finished with high quality aluminum JAE circular connectors.
All this leads to a very powerful and neutral umbilical power cable, which brings lots of tranquility, dynamics, detail and defined bass!
