Description

The TUBULUS Concentus Analog Interconnect is based on high quality pure silver conductors. These are solid core and semi-solid concentric conductors to minimize strand interaction, which is a major source of distortion.

The silver conductors are individually insulated by air. We use air insulation because (next to a vacuum) air is the best dielectric. This air insulation is made possible by our unique star septet tube construction, which can only be made by hand. The conductors are positioned in a star septet configuration to maximize noise rejection.

The Tubulus Concentus Analog Interconnect consists of various diameter conductors because every diameter has its own musical character. With a special thermo-process the silver conductors are restructured at a molecular level to reach a quality close to mono crystal silver.

The TUBULUS Concentus Analog Interconnect is also equipped with 2 layers of very effective shielding to prevent electrical noise entering into the cable. This shielding has a 100% coverage.

TUBULUS Concentus Analog Interconnect cables are available with high quality RCA or XLR plugs, which are soldered with silver containing solder.

TUBULUS interconnect cables are hand crafted with love, expertise and devotion with no excess decoration or luxury packaging and therefore true value for your money!

WHY USE AIR INSULATION
Most audio wire has extruded insulation, where the insulation material is in intimate and immediate contact with the conductor along its entire length. This forms the dielectric of the wire, which has a tendency to absorb and release energy to and from the conductor. The occurrence of this phenomenon produces negative sonic affects. Dielectric constant measurements are used to determine the ability of an insulator to store electrical energy. Common insulator materials and their dielectric constants are Teflon (2.1), polyethylene (2.25) and polyvinyl chloride PVC (3.18). The best practical dielectric is air, which has the near-perfect lowest dielectric constant (1.00059) next to a vacuum (which has a perfect dielectric constant of 1). That’s why TUBULUS uses air insulation.

The Concentus Analog Interconnect is wonderfull! It is a big step above the JCT Module one which one was a big step above any other câble I had before including high-end JCT cables….
I’m able to listen music to lower volume level with the same, sorry, more pleasure (about 6 to 10db lower) with udge of details and how easy it is to follow singers than before.
it is very clear, detailed, a litte wider 3D image, top realistic, super transparent (more emotions than before and no harshness), and has “REALY NEUTRAL” sound (no sound signature added). I fall in love with these XLR cables.
